Solution: Take the reg. unit out, the two guides that the paper comes up through needs to be replaced. Clean the clutches on the reg unit with contact cleaner. | Ricoh AF200,AF250Problem: Can't remove the drum unit
Solution: The copier has to be in the ready position for the main charge roller to pull away from the drum. You have to remove the disk from the rear frame and release the main charge assmy. manually. | Ricoh AF2018Problem: Squeaking noise from fuser area.
Solution: Strippers are worn, a drop of oil will fix until you can replace them. | Ricoh AF2018Problem: Thumping grinding noise from fuser area.
Solution: Upper heat roller bearings need replaced. | Ricoh AF2035Problem: AF2035 family, dark area on one side of the copy when the customer uses the ADF.
Solution: The customer will lean on the front left side of the dash board while they wait for the copies, bending the scanner frame down. Place your hand under the left side of the dash board, just under the scanner frame(NOT THE OPERATION PANEL) and bend it up. Sound strange, but it works. |
